AUTOMATED FUEL INVENTORY CONTROL IN STATIONS

This is a fuel control case, based on a true story

THE PROBLEM

After several meetings with the company and information gathered in conversations, we identified the following situations

The company did not have automated fuel level monitoring tools in all stations.
The company needed non-invasive technologies to control the stations remotely.
The company did not have a system to complete the reconciliation of the fuel consumption.
The company needed an integrated solution to manage its operation.

THE PROPOSAL

Quality work through integration:

To implement an IoT system to monitor inventories that could be integrated with existing infrastructure and ATG consoles from other vendors. The proposed system combined:

Communication unit: Installation of communication units that could integrate thru serial protocol with ATG consoles from different suppliers (one at each location).
CONTROL IMS Software: The configuration of IOTSOL to display the fuel inventory information from all stations online. IOTSOL is a scalable and robust cloud base software platform that allows integration with third-party ERP.

THE RESULT

The company obtained full visibility of fuel inventories online.
The company was able to use the existing infrastructure and facilitate the roll-out throughout their entire network.
The company improved its button line and the efficiency of administrative and supervisory staff.
