THE PROBLEM

A sugar mill in Colombia expressed great concerns over thief ule management. Control IMS LLC identified the shortcomings that affected the performance and production in the field

The company did not have automated fuel level monitoring tools in all stations.
The company needed non-invasive technologies to control the stations remotely.
The company did not have a system to complete the reconciliation of the fuel consumption.
The company needed an integrated solution to manage its operation.

THE PROPOSAL

Quality work through integration:

For this particular project, Control IMS LLC defined an integrated solution that combined:

RFID Tag: 150 RFID for vehicle identification (1 per vehicle fuel inlet).
Fuel Controllers: Installation of five fuel dispensing controllers at the station and one in the mobile tanker.
Level Sensor: Installation 2 level sensors for the mobile tank.
CONTROL IMS Software: Web based software platform.

THE RESULT

The company improved the fuel dispensing security with the use of multiple authentication parameters during the fuel transactions.
Fuel dispensing is more efficient and only authorized machinery with RFID technology can get fuel from fixed or mobile stations.
The company administration is more aware of the operation, fuel operation alerts and business intelligent reports from Control IMS LLC make the difference.
